The Zia Sun Symbol consists of a red circle with four sets of four rays emanating from it in four directions. The number four is a sacred number to the Zia Pueblo, representing the four cardinal directions, the four seasons of the year, the four stages of life, and the four sacred obligations one must develop: a strong body, a clear mind, a pure spirit, and a devotion to the welfare of others.

What a beautiful way to display the history of the state of New Mexico in your home. Also makes the perfect gift. 

Product details: Created using all pine wood. Backing and framing cut, sanded, stained and painted by myself. These are not pre made framed signs. Measuring approx. 24" x 8" Adorned with 2 saw tooth hooks on the back for easy hanging.

• You have the choice of having the lettering painted on or have the lettering cut with a laser cutter to give that raised 3D effect. 
• You can also choose the color of the Zia as well as the way the framing will be cut. Either straight or at a 45 degree angle. (see pictures to see the difference.

Please note that wood sign orders can take 3-4 weeks, depending on inventory and holidays. This is also because of the length in process it takes to create. From cutting, staining and painting, the drying process is also a big factor.
